“sow. sow. cut the grass.”
Ascendant.
One in the violet wheat.
Crown of ears and dry leaf.
Rough cloth.
The scythe longer than the body.
Runes down the haft.
He plants first.
Two seeds.
Then the swing.
The cut grass falls behind the blade.
The standing grass waits in front.
The face does not smile.
It counts.
The Moon did not scorch him.
The haft did.
Sow, sow, cut the grass.
Harvester is the Ascendant tragedy of the counted field.
The crown is not glory.
It is proof.
He plants.
He plants again.
He is the vessel who closed the season with the haft.
First stage. Evolves into Scarecrow Field.
He sows twice and cuts once.
Sow.
Sow.
Cut the grass.
He is the Homunculus the cycle could not leave in the wheat.
